Meet the Team
John is the broker & owner of RE/MAX Service First, and is proud to be located in the same city he grew up in. John named the company “RE/MAX Service First” because of his desire to provide real estate services with a “Service First” approach and attitude. John learned early in life that service to people is how life and business should be.
John grew up on the northwest side of Waukesha, then known as the town of Pewaukee. He is a proud graduate of Catholic Memorial, the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where he obtained his BBA – Marketing. John also holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University.
John’s “service” roots began when he was 19 years old and he joined the Pewaukee Fire Department as a Firefighter. John learned the true meaning of “Service First” when helping people as all firefighters do when called upon. John’s introduction to public service would extend into law enforcement, where he worked for a few departments as a police officer. In Glendale, John was a DARE and juvenile officer, assigned to help kids in the communities the Glendale schools served. John’s passion for keeping kids safe and away from the extreme dangers in life created a great bond between the children and the police department. John also served his fellow police officers as a trainer, mentor, and teacher at various training academies in SouthEastern Wisconsin.
John began managing and owning property in 1994. He assisted landlords manage their properties, screen applicants, handle contractors & repairs, while managing rent rolls as well. He still owns real estate and is a great resource to those people looking to buy, sell, or invest in real estate holdings.
In 2011 John obtained his Wisconsin real estate license and began helping people buy and sell real estate. With his history, he brings an extremely unique skill set to his clients. His client’s directly benefit from decades of knowledge as it relates to homes. Since obtaining his license John has sold nearly 400 homes – which ranks him in the top 1% nationwide for sales according to Trulia.com. John’s Team has sold over 600 properties since that time as well – unbelievable!
In 2016 John decided it was time to create his vision and open his own real estate firm. John’s firm is committed to helping others achieve their dreams. This is evident amongst his team and his company agents as they too subscribe to this belief. Our agents subscribe to the company’s 12 Point of Culture, and commit to placing our client’s needs ahead of our own. John is committed to the education of his clients and his customers, his agents. He strives to educate and empower them to be the best they can for their clients.
John is married to his wife, Samantha, and they enjoy their time with their 3 dogs, all rescued. They are definitely part of their family and they firmly believe the dogs adopted them. In his spare time John loves to golf and is a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder.
John and RE/MAX Service First is a regular supported of the Waukesha Sheriff’s Department K9 organization, the West Allis Police Department K9 organization, Milwaukee Brewers’ Marcus Hanel’s “Koos for Kids” fundraiser, and more. John is also a “Home for Heroes” affiliate which rewards law enforcement, military, firefighters, EMS, teachers and healthcare workers with a Hero award check after closing.
Newer to the Wisconsin area, Kelly brings her ‘behind the scenes’ transaction experience to our office. With her knack for creative, attention to detail & organization, Kelly creates marketing materials, coordinates with vendors, corresponds with clients & assists her team in the buying & selling processes.
When she is not busy assisting her teammates, Kelly enjoys FaceTime with her family & venturing out with her future husband. Born & raised on the East coast, Kelly often finds herself day dreaming of the ocean breeze & Maryland seafood. While she often misses being back East, Kelly is happy to say she has settled into Wisconsin living & taking in all the great entertainment the Milwaukee area has to offer.
Samantha Gscheidmeier is the Director Of Social Media at RE/MAX Service First. She utilizes multiple marketing platforms to help RE/MAX Service First’s sellers further market their home, attract new clients, convert leads and successfully close transactions. Samantha monitors online trends which can assist our clients in achieving their goals of buying or selling real estate. In today’s real estate market it is crucial that a company fully recognizes and utilizes all online and social media outlets where potential buyers can find our seller clients. Samantha’s goal is to provide our clients with all the latest available online and in social media.
In addition, Samantha assists in chairing and organizing various charity events RE/MAX Service First. She works directly with the Client Service Coordinator and helps sponsor and participates in charity events. She understands the importance of giving back to our community and loves being able to help! Samantha studied at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and the Milwaukee Area Technical College. Samantha is a huge advocate for rescuing animals so while her and her husband, John, have three rescue dogs of their own she also enjoys volunteering her time with various shelters and rescues in our area.
As a full-time real estate professional, Annette brings years of business experience and believes that educating her clients and providing timely and clear communication is the key to a stress-free transaction. As one client stated, “She managed to keep me grounded and patient throughout the negotiation process.” Her business approach is direct and successful; she listens to the client’s needs and matches them to the right property, then uses perseverance, tenacity and strong negotiation skills to assure an honest and efficient real estate experience. A focused listener, able advisor and fierce, yet fair, advocate, Annette creates a positive experience for both sides in any property transaction.
As the mother of two teenagers, Annette is a Southeast Wisconsin native familiar with neighborhoods, school districts and trends in the area. She is passionate about helping others buy or sell property ranging from a modest home or condominium, to a residence fit for a large or extended family and has closed over $15 million in sales and helped more than 85 clients achieve their real estate goals.
Her other passion is travel – preferably somewhere international and warm – but she prides herself on always being available and takes her portable office (cell phone/laptop) with her wherever she goes. Prior to earning his Realtor License in 2009, Bill worked on the financial side of real estate. Bill earned a Bachelor of Finance Degree in 1990 and a Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1997, both from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. For over 19 years, Bill held positions in consumer lending, commercial lending and bank operations at financial institutions such as US Bank (formerly First Wisconsin/Firstar), Associated Bank (formerly State Financial Bank) and Anchor Bank.
His former experience as Vice President of Commercial Lending has prepared him for the day-to-day details of buying, selling and investing in the real estate market. Bill utilizes this expertise every day to ensure unparalleled knowledge of the real estate market, a thorough understanding of your needs and the ability to ultimately complete a smooth transaction for his customers.
Bill guides his clients through each step in the transaction. He takes the approach of a facilitator, providing timely information and thoughtful advice, to allow the clients to make the decision that is right for them. Bill was born and raised in a small town in Sheboygan County. After graduating from Plymouth High School in 1985 he moved to the east side of Milwaukee to attend college. Upon graduation he spent the next 11 years living and working in and around the Milwaukee area. In 2002 he moved his family to the town of West Bend where they were able to purchase a lot and build their dream home. As a resident of West Bend for 15 years, he has been involved in his community through West Bend Little League, Basketball, Scouting and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Aside from his enthusiasm for real estate, Bill has a passion for travel, especially anywhere warm and tropical. When he is away, he keeps in close contact with his clients by taking his office (lap top/cell phone) with him.
Bill works with buyers and sellers throughout Southeastern Wisconsin in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate transactions, including: Single Family Homes, Condos, Investment Properties, and Foreclosures. His vast market knowledge, advanced education and experience in all aspects of the real estate transaction play a large part of his success in providing a great service to his clients.
With over 9 years of experience, Kevin has served countless buyers and sellers throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Helping them through the next stage of their home ownership journey. Some our first-time home buyers, some are moving up and some are empty nesters looking to down size. Whatever stage his clients are at, he truly tries to meet their needs and goals for their next home. Kevin has also been fortunate enough to assist most of his past clients with the sale of their previous home as well.
Kevin has assisted buyers and sellers with mostly residential transactions, but has ventured into small commercial properties, as well, to help serve his client’s needs. Kevin also spent 4 years as a loss mitigation specialist for a national independent 3rd party company, assisting homeowners through the loss mitigation process and, if necessary, the sale of the home through the, sometimes confusing, short sale process. Kevin is a member of the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors, the Wisconsin Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys golfing, reading, and anything with his family. Kevin lives in Waukesha and has been married to his wife Coleen for 22 years. Kevin has two teenage kids who are amazing! Kevin is active in his church and enjoys coaching youth sports.

Nathanial Dorn grew up in the Watertown area with his family and has recently built a new home in Dodge county. In 2012 he married his beautiful wife and in October of 2016 they were blessed with their first child. Nate graduated from College in 2005 with a degree in Criminal Justice and has worked for 12 years in Law Enforcement where he enjoys working with kids while using his K-9 partner Cash to build relationships and help those who need it.
Nate has several family members and friends in the construction industry and even helped build his own home. He believes that buying and selling a home is one of the most important things you do in life and he wants to make that experience as simple, informative and exciting as possible. Nate has gained a vast amount of knowledge on how homes are constructed and what to look for when buying a home to make sure you get the best one for you. He uses this knowledge and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem.
